Windows tired to heal itself but couldn't. Windows couldn't boot or even load and it got into a repetitive loop I could not kill. I tried to shut down Windows but couldn't. I tried to launch a Windows application but it took forever and would not launch. Windows booted but in a strange way I had never seen before. This is when things went from bad to worse. I needed to get on the Dark Side so I booted Parallels to get into Windows. I decided I would live with it for now and look at it more later. So I booted into 'Safe Mode' and ran Disk Utility and rebooted. On boot Friday morning my iMac was slow and sluggish. At the end of day I shut down my iMac as ususal.
